Pretty in Pink {Athens Baby Photographer}
After an almost 2 month break from shooting sessions because of lens repairs and morning sickness, I finally got behind the camera again last month for this lovely session with an adorable 6-month old and her handsome big brother! So much fun! Baby girl was full of smiles and big brother was an amazing helper. Love them!

Splish Splash {Huntsville Lifestyle Photography}
These photos of my sweet boy are from Sept of last year. I meant to post them but just never got around to it. In fact life got so busy, I got very behind on my personal pics, but I’m caught up now after sorting through thousands and thousands of photos. Whew. I just couldn’t help but share these bath photos even if they are “out of date”.

Winter Session {Huntsville Toddler Photography}
I’ve been photographing these girls since they were 6 months old and now they’re walking!! I think they have started looking even more identical and more beautiful with each session. After some last minute location changes due to cold weather we ended up at the gorgeous (and warm) Winchester Manor and the girls loved exploring it!!
P.S. Aren’t these little coats adorable!? I think I have a new love for winter sessions now.

Fall Baby {Huntsville Newborn and Family Photographer}
I love the chance to take newborn photos both inside and outside of the home! And when I saw this amazing orange tree near this family’s home I knew immediately where we would go for the outdoor portion. I love how real and playful these photos are. Sigh – I just love lifestyle newborn/family sessions…

Smitten {Huntsville Baby and Family Photography}
Ohhmygoshh how cute is this little boy! I wanted to sneak him in my bag and take him home to be best friends with my Elijah. You can tell this whole family is 100% smitted over this little boy. And how can you blame them?

Best of Both Worlds {Huntsville Newborn Photographer}
This is one of my all time favorite newborn sessions!! This entire session truly represents my style for newborn photography which has changed since I first started. I really enjoyed getting to know this couple from their maternity session to pulling an all-nighter with them at their baby’s birth and then spending an afternoon with them here. Their maternity session took place in the Flint River so I threw the idea out there to return to the river for their newborn session and to my delight they were up for it!! And I’m so glad! I love when clients trust my ideas…. So after some shots in their home, we headed to the river and I love the results! I truly got the best of both worlds with this session – the cozy photos at home and the natural photos at the river. Thank y’all for being so awesome!!!

One Year Session {Huntsville Child Photography}
It’s always a pleasure photographing this family! This little man is so sweet, content, and cooperative. He’s the same age as my Elijah so it was bittersweet to see this cutie turn one along with mine. I can’t believe they grow so fast!! We had a great time strolling the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. My favorite part was watching him play in the bubbling rock – so cute!!

Baby Sister {Newborn Photography Athens Alabama}
After being there for the birth of this sweet girl, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her for the newborn session. What a beautiful baby girl!! She has the cutest big brother who I’ve photographed since he was 2, and he seems pretty smitten with his new sister.

Birthday Twins {Huntsville Party Photography}
These twin cuties turned one in July (yes I’m so behind with my blogging
). Lauren and I decided to photograph each other’s birthday parties so we could both just enjoy them without having to worry about taking pictures ourselves. Not only was this party fun to shoot but I got awesome photos of Elijah’s party in return that I cherish!! Win-win. This was 100% “real” just capturing the moments as a fly on the wall. Pure lifestyle. Playful. Genuine. Relaxed. Simple. Fun. I LOVED it!!

Interested in birthday party photography? Right now I’m only offering party photography to current clients or when booking a one-year session. Contact me if you’re interested!
Things don’t always go as planned…
…but that doesn’t mean you still can’t get great photos. I’ll make sure of it! This mama and I thought we had it all planned out: a walk around downtown, play in the pop-up fountains, then home for a bath. Well these sweeties decided to skip their nap (of course! – I call this the Photo Day Nap Curse – happens all the time!), then the pop-up fountains were mean to one baby and she was DONE, and when we got to their house for the outdoor bath photos, it decided to rain! I didn’t even know rain was in the forecast! I returned a couple days later to pick up where we left off and get their bath photos. And even with a non-slip mat, cutie #2 kept slipping and taking dunks in the bath water. I think mama and I were more traumatized than baby though! LOL! It was so nice to see these two girls again and see how much they’ve changed since their 6 month session. SUCH cuties!!!
