I haven’t posted any personal photos in a long time so here’s a big collage from the past few months. I really loved putting this together because I could relive each of these little moments over again. Most of these photos are just everyday shots I take around the house so quality isn’t perfect but the memories captured in them make the photos perfect to me. I’m going to try and make this a monthly thing so you can get a glimpse into what’s going on in my life and because my boy is just too cute not to share!

I’m behind… I thought I might need to post these Spring mini session photos before Summer got here! Like the title says I really love my clients. I am so blessed to have such amazing people to photograph! These mini sessions were a little something extra I did for my current 2012 clients. Booking with me not only gets you a session customized for you but also any little extras I throw in along the way. Love and Wildflowers

My heart skipped a beat when I scoped out this location and saw this wildflower surprise!! And then to top it off, I got to see my good friends!! Aren’t they so sweet!? You can tell by looking at their photos what a great couple they are! I love you guys!

Gossshhh… First of all can I say how hard it was to look through all these nominations of wonderful people and only choose ONE! I was so touched by so many of the nominations. I’m such an indecisive person so I knew I would need a group of my closest family and friends to help choose one (plus it’s just seemed more fair that way). And we have a winner! Congratulations Kelly Baugher! I can’t wait to photograph your family!

Thank you so much for all the nominations. It was so refreshing that so many thoughtful and giving people took the time to write about the amazing people in their life. I was truly touched.

Silly runs in the family…

My brother-in-law coordinated a photo session for his wife’s birthday. But I don’t think he knew what he got himself into once they showed up and the tackling began! And then the silly came out!!!

I probably should start supplying some Advil to parents at my sessions… oh and stain remover too for the muddy pants. Oops.

Spring Baby

This session occurred at the perfect time – green grass and flowering trees!! A beautiful setting for a beautiful baby girl! I love shooting newborn sessions outdoors. It was only early March for this session but it was hot! It didn’t bother baby girl though – she dozed off and enjoyed the warm air and sunshine.

“You can’t out give God” – That’s what the preacher said Sunday. The message on giving inspired me to carry that out in my business life as well as my personal life. So what better way to do that than with a session giveaway! Not only will one deserving family get a full session with me but the person who nominates the winner will get a free mini-session! Both will get a disc with the edited images.

Crazy Wonderful Life

Lauren and I photographed each other’s families recently and I have to be honest – I was extremely nervous for this session. I usually am a little nervous before all sessions but this one had my stomach in knots. #1 Lauren is a wonderful photographer. Would my photos be good enough? And #2 there were 3 children under 3 – a 2.5 year old and 8-month twins!! Enough said. But I really enjoyed shooting this big bunch! It was so much fun watching a family of five! Seriously this Mommy and Daddy are super-parents! I don’t think my fingers have ever moved so fast switching settings and taking shots through the craziness (the good kind).

Lauren – it was so nice meeting your family! Your girls are BEAUTIFUL! I hope you enjoy these memories with you actually in the photos. I can’t wait to do this all over again in the Summer!!
